The need to wait for Israel’s response to Iran was highlighted by expert Armen Petrosyan in an interview with NEWS.am. According to Petrosyan, Israel has been attempting to respond for quite some time, but with limited success. The only instance where they succeeded was in the assassination of Baden’s associate. As soon as news broke out about Iran’s retaliatory operation, Israel was prepared and immediately attempted to carry out their response operation. However, their efforts were unsuccessful due to US mediation, which currently prevents them from carrying out such acts of aggression. Petrosyan believes that any action against Iran can only be realized if it correlates with Israel’s military or political conflicts with the country.

Petrosyan also mentioned that Azerbaijan could potentially be a platform for conducting secret operations against Iran, but this would largely depend on Azerbaijan’s interests in taking advantage of the hostility. It is important to note that Israel acts as an umbrella for Azerbaijan, utilizing its presence and resources within the territory of Azerbaijan.
