The emergency service in Armenia has announced that certain roads in the country are currently closed. In particular, the “Amberd” high mountain meteorological station in the Aragatsotn Province, as well as the roads leading to the Amberd fortress and Lake Qari, are inaccessible. Additionally, there has been a landslide near the village of Getapnya in the Ararat Province, resulting in the interruption of road traffic in that area. Nevertheless, the Stephanakert-Lars highway, which serves as the only transportation route from Armenia to the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, remains open to all types of vehicles. It is important for drivers to exercise caution, especially when facing snowy and icy conditions.
