“Israeli Military Cabinet Deliberates Retaliation Against Iran, Postpones Decision-Making Process”

After hours of discussions, the Israeli military cabinet is yet to reach a decision on how and when to retaliate against Iran’s aggression. They have postponed the decision-making process and informed the Israeli 12th division. The discussions are expected to resume soon.

According to reports from Israeli media sources, Benny Gantz, the head of the military cabinet, along with Gadi Eizenkot, a member of the “National Unity” alliance and an observer of the military cabinet, have proposed a preemptive strike on Iran, despite the Iranian aggression starting yesterday evening.

However, Yoav Gallant, the Minister of Defense, Herzi Halevi, the commander of the Israeli Defense Forces, and others have expressed concerns about the difficulty of simultaneous operations due to the vulnerability of their military forces and non-manned aerial vehicles.

Moreover, after Israeli counterintelligence operations successfully thwarted the Iranian aggression, Naftali Bennett, the Israeli Minister of Defense, and the Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, expressed their gratitude in a joint phone call to Israel’s “unyielding defense.”

During the discussions on the Israeli response, Netanyahu’s position remains unclear. The 12th division also suggests that the United Nations has not attempted to negotiate any resolution with Israel regarding its actions against Iran. Additionally, they deny any involvement in any Israeli actions against Iran and propose clarifying whether Israel can sign a “military agreement” with the United States against Iran, without any obligation to take action, similar to the situation with the Palestinians.
