On Saturday, retaliatory operations took place in Iran, Yemen, Syria, and Iraq in response to the targeted assassination of Iranian General Qasem Soleimani by the US. President Joe Biden stated that these operations successfully destroyed all the missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) launched by Iran. He emphasized that the US military demonstrated additional capabilities in the region over the past week.

The announcement also confirmed that no American casualties or targeted objects were reported during Tehran’s operation.

“Today, our forces and objects were not subject to any launches. We remain prepared to defend our people and have taken all necessary actions to ensure the protection of our nation,” stated the spokesperson for the White House, relaying the statement of President Biden.
