“Controversy Surrounds ‘To Shoot or Not to Shoot’: Daredevils of Sassoun Theater Group Faces Criticism for Political Play as Dissenters Threaten Political Crisis”

The theater group “Daredevils of Sassoun” has been working on a play called “To Shoot or Not to Shoot” for the past three years. Recently, this play has garnered more attention, especially regarding the placement of statues of Daredevils of Sassoun in public areas. Alen Simonyan, the head of the Republican Party faction, criticized the group for staging the play, suggesting that a political compromise would be the solution to the country’s situation. Armen Minasyan, the head of the “Armenia” parliamentary faction, emphasized the importance of political support in determining the fate of the political system. The ongoing dissatisfaction with the government has led to a crisis, resulting in discussions among representatives of the people.

Lévon Kocharyan, who has taken a defiant stance on the issue, has been negotiating the possibility of retaining dissenters on the list. It has been suggested that only 5-10 individuals from this list of 156 people will participate in the upcoming election. However, a political crisis can still be avoided if even one person agrees to engage in a political compromise with the dissidents. Alternatively, if there are no remaining dissenters in the parliament, the political crisis may also be resolved.
