“Gregor Minasyan, Chief Justice of Armenia, Meets with Chief Justice of Georgian Judiciary to Strengthen Judicial Cooperation and Promote Legal Reforms”

Gregor Minasyan, the Chief Justice of Armenia, recently met with Rati Brejaze, the Chief Justice of the Georgian Judiciary. During the meeting, Minasyan expressed his gratitude to his colleagues for their participation in the Armenian-Georgian Legal Forum and emphasized the forum’s significance in strengthening the cooperation between both countries and identifying avenues for improvement in their judicial systems. In terms of existing agreements, Minasyan highlighted that Armenia and Georgia currently have eight bilateral agreements in the justice field, alongside four memorandums of understanding and two signed protocols. These agreements aim to facilitate coordination and collaboration in the realm of law. Moving forward, Minasyan stressed the need for increased cooperation between the Armed Forces of Armenia and Georgia, as outlined in the joint statement, to further improve security in the justice field. Furthermore, the Chief Justice of Armenia commended the warm reception he received from Rati Brejaze and expressed hope that this collaboration in the justice field would create new opportunities for the Armenian-Georgian Legal Forum and facilitate reforms and changes in Yerevan.
