“Armenian Parliament Approves EU Agreement, Paving the Way for Visa Liberalization and Enhanced Security”

The Armenian Parliament approved the agreement between the Government of Armenia and the European Union on April 12. This approval came during a late-night session and is a significant development in the ongoing efforts for visa liberalization. The agreement addresses various important issues such as maximum security, cyber-security, trafficking, illegal migration, and the elimination of counterfeit activities. As part of the ratification process, a contact point for the agreement will be set up in the Netherlands. This contact point will serve as a means for Armenia to access information from the European Union. Additionally, a contact point will also be established in Armenia to enable access to European Union information.
