On April 12, in the Ararat province, an accident occurred on a section of the Yerevan-Yeraskh highway near the “Adana” restaurant complex. Two cars, a “Reno” driven by 55-year-old Suren M. and an “Opel” driven by 28-year-old Liparit S., collided. Both drivers are residents of the Ararat province. As a result of the collision, the Opel driver, 65-year-old Radik Kh., sustained physical injuries and was taken to the “Erebuni” medical center, while the Reno driver, 65-year-old Hrach A., also with physical injuries, was taken to the “Artashat” medical center.

The victims received initial aid from military doctors, passing civilians, and emergency doctors from the “Artashat” medical center. The military police have initiated an investigation into the accident. Preliminary reports suggest the involvement of a pedestrian, but the details of their actions and the circumstances of the accident are still being clarified. The Opel sustained severe damage, causing the driver to remain in the car until rescue attempts are made.
