The employees of the regional administration of the Emergency Situations Ministry in Kotayk Province received operational information about a 34-year-old resident of Hrazdan city being spotted in a “Mercedes” vehicle owned by the Ministry. Upon receiving this information, the Emergency Situations Department in Hrazdan identified, arrested, and handed him over to the regional administration of Emergency Situations in Kotayk Province on the evening of April 5. An official investigation has now been initiated by the Kotayk provincial administration of the Emergency Situations Ministry.

On the same day, with a court’s decision, an inspection was conducted in the suspect’s “Mercedes” vehicle, as requested by the Ministry’s logo. During the search, three loaded firearms of different ethnic origins were discovered in a compartment within the car. One of these firearms was found beneath the driver’s seat. The 34-year-old resident of Hrazdan City has been interrogated in connection with an ongoing criminal case, and the investigation is still ongoing.
