“Revealed: Cadastre Committee’s High-Value Transactions Exceed 200,000 Drams per Square Meter”

We have obtained information about the transactions carried out in the Cadastre Committee. The committee covers only 5 areas and the registered transactions in these areas have exceeded 200,000 drams per square meter. On April 10, Tigran Khachatryan, the head of the State Revenue Committee, addressed the question of Gegham Nazaryan, a member of the “Armenia” faction. Khachatryan explained the reasons for deciding to purchase apartments for 3-5 million drams for persons affected by displacement. He mentioned that the apartments worth 200,000 drams are located in Ashtarak, Yerevan, Ejmiatsin, Dilijan, and Tsaghkadzor. Khachatryan stated that individuals who have been affected by displacement and have fewer family members, making it difficult for them to afford an apartment for 6 or 9 million drams, are considered for these social housing options. The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs collaborates on social issues to ensure that those in need are provided with living arrangements. “We have acquired all the buildings that can be reconstructed and improved for this purpose, and we will provide the right to live in those apartments to those families without personal ownership,” said Tigran Khachatryan.
