“Lithuanian Soldiers in Vilnius: First Group Completes Training as German Troops Join Forces”
The first group of Lithuanian soldiers deployed to Vilnius has completed training. The brigade is expected to be completed by 2025.
According to Euronews, the first detachment of German troops has been stationed in Vilnius. They were accompanied by the Commander of German Armed Forces Alfonse Meys.
The Lithuanian Rapid Response Force, which is the main unit of the 45th Brigade, consists of more than 20 soldiers from Bundestag. They have been deployed in Vilnius and are responsible for coordinating the relocation plan and military infrastructure requirements.
