Recent reports in Azerbaijan have revealed that the individuals responsible for spreading misleading news about the tension on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border are residents of Azerbaijan. Two individuals, namely Aliyev Rashad Balagha (born in 1977) and Melikov Parviz Ramiz (born in 1973), have been actively involved in disseminating false information. They have been spreading news about the escalating tension, casualties, and injuries in the Azerbaijani army, as well as the deployment of military equipment and heavy artillery in the Lachin region.

Azerbaijani authorities have taken note of this issue and are implementing necessary measures to prevent the spread of such misinformation. They aim to regulate and govern the dissemination of information effectively.
