Seyrach, during his recent visit to Kenya, Rwanda, and Côte d’Ivoire, highlighted France’s objective of diversifying these partnerships and ensuring their success for all involved nations. Africa is prioritized in France’s foreign policy, with Seyrach emphasizing that the continent has the potential to become a center for economic development, environmental initiatives, and academic cooperation. Over the past decade, France has demonstrated its commitment to East Africa by increasing trade relations and the number of French businesses operating in the region from 50 to 140.
