“Armenia’s Prime Minister Anna Hakobyan Explores Cultural Collaborations in Brussels”

The Prime Minister of Armenia, Anna Hakobyan, who is also the executive director of the “My Step” foundation, recently visited the headquarters of the “Poghosian” foundation in Brussels, Belgium. During her visit, she met with Stepan Yakobs, the president of the “Poghosian” foundation, and An-Klek Dyoupekhi, the director of the Villa Empain cultural and art center. They had discussions about the activities of the “Poghosian” foundation and Anna Hakobyan presented the activities and current programs of the “My Step” foundation. Anna Hakobyan also proposed the idea of organizing an exhibition of contemporary Armenian artists and art experts with the support of both foundations in Armenia. They have agreed to further discuss this cooperation.

Following their meeting, Anna Hakobyan visited the Villa Empain art center and viewed the current exhibition of retro-modernism, which featured the works of Joseph and Anni Albers, representatives of contemporary modernism.

At the end of their meeting, the representatives of the “Poghosian” foundation invited Anna Hakobyan to attend the opening ceremony of the autumn Flower Festival in Yerevan in September. The festival is dedicated to the history of the Villa Empain cultural and art center.
