“Republic of Artsakh Citizens Relocate to Armenia with Red Cross Assistance, Providing Aid to Karabakh Residents”

On March 29, two individuals from the Republic of Artsakh relocated to Armenia based on the recommendation of the International Committee of the Red Cross. The director of programs for the dissemination of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Armenia, Zara Amatuni, confirmed this information. The individuals in question are Samvel Galstyan and Margarita Shahnazaryan. Amatuni further stated that during this process, they are providing assistance to approximately 20 Armenians in Karabakh who are helping maintain communication with the residents outside of Karabakh. Since October, over 50 individuals have relocated to Armenia with the help of the Red Cross. Amatuni emphasized that the Red Cross does not impose any restrictions on individuals relocating willingly. Their role as a mediator is to support transportation, and once that limit is reached, the transportation is completed and they are free to choose their destination.
