“Hungary Takes a Stand: Refuses to Participate in Russian Military Exercises in Armenia, US Involvement Unwelcome”

Hungary has decided not to take part in the ongoing military exercises of the Russian army in Armenia, which also involves the participation of the United States. Peter Szijjarto, the Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs, made this announcement during a meeting with the leaders of the Eurasian Economic Union in Brussels. He stated that Hungary is not involved in the planning of this Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) system.

During the meeting in Brussels, Szijjarto spoke to Hungarian journalists and emphasized that Hungary has no interest in and will not participate in any actions or activities of this nature. He further stated that Hungary will continue to protect its own interests and will not send troops to participate in what he refers to as aggression.
