Russia has announced its involvement in the war, according to an interview with Gegham Melkonian, the Deputy Chairman of the ANC “Civil Contract” party. Melkonian wants to counteract the announcement made by the former mayor of Yerevan, Hayk Marutyan, about establishing a new force called “New Power”. The amount of this force will be disclosed on May 1. Melkonian believes that their opponents want to neutralize them, but he dismisses the idea that Marutyan’s force can become an anti-government force, stating that many similar forces have emerged and disappeared, leaving only a few remaining.
