“Investigation Launched After Russian National Found Injured in Yerevan Car Accident on April Fool’s Day”
On April 1, an accident occurred in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia. At approximately 7:30 PM, the emergency hotline of the Yerevan Ambulance Service, known as number 14, received a report from the Arabkir Division of the Internal Affairs Ministry about an injured individual found inside a Volkswagen car.
According to Shamshyan, witnesses and bystanders present at the scene identified the driver of the Volkswagen Touareg as a 67-year-old Russian citizen named Lyudvig H.
Following a preliminary examination conducted by the forensic doctor, no signs of alcohol intoxication were detected in the driver.
As a consequence of this incident, a criminal investigation has been initiated and will be conducted by the criminal division.
Furthermore, based on the decision of the investigator, a forensic examination will also take place.
