“Emergency Cases Surge: Fires, Accidents, and More. National Center for Crisis Management Responds to 471 Incidents in One Week”

From March 25th to 31st, a total of 471 cases were registered at the National Center for Crisis Management and Disaster Risk Reduction. Out of these cases, 153 were emergencies. The emergencies included 81 incidents related to fire, 3 cases of natural disasters, 1 case of animal attack, 2 cases of traffic accidents, 4 cases of gas leakage, 9 cases of drowning, 9 cases of attempted suicide, 41 cases of road accidents, 143 cases of emergency calls, 19 cases of fire extinguishment, 22 cases of false alarm, and 121 other cases.

Aside from the mentioned incidents, there were also 94 cases of transportation restrictions due to various factors, including the current conditions. In response to the restrictions, 184 residents of the affected areas and 107 transportation vehicles were assisted in relocating to safer areas.

During the previous week, there were 82 reported injuries and 14 fatalities. However, thanks to rescue operations, 4 people were saved.

The rescue service continues its efforts to uphold public safety.
