Washington Denies Reports of Azerbaijani Declarations on Armenian Prime Minister’s Meeting with International Leaders to Resolve Karabakh Issue

Washington denies reports of Azerbaijani declarations claiming that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, European Council President Charles Michel, and US Secretary of State Antony Blinken would meet in Brussels on April 5th to address the Karabakh issue. The announcement was made by US Department of State representative Ned Price.

“I was not aware of these discussions. Our focus at the center was on the domestic crisis, which will assist Armenia in diversifying its foreign policy and addressing the humanitarian crisis. I fail to see how this would disrupt the settlement process or involve intervention in any other country,” stated Miller.

Miller did not answer whether there were discussions about the possibility of creating a new format and whether it is connected to Russia’s withdrawal from Armenia.
