The president and founder of “AntiFake.am” website, Narék Samsónyan, who is also a political analyst, has written an open letter to the US Ambassador to Armenia, Kristina Kvien. The letter was sent in response to the Armenian authorities’ decision to boycott media criticism for the past two months. Samsónyan raises important questions regarding President Biden’s derogatory remarks about Russian President Putin, and compares it to the rhetoric used by the President of Armenia towards the US President. Samsónyan also discusses the role of media and political resistance in Armenia. The letter ends with a request for the Ambassador’s evaluation of the Armenian election system and a query about the Ambassador’s familiarity with Samsónyan’s cartoons.
