First Lady Jill Biden has written a children’s book called “White House Cat Willow,” which is set to be published in June. The book tells the story of how Willow came to live at the Pennsylvania Avenue address. Willow’s arrival at the White House was captured on camera by Biden herself during a pre-inauguration ceremony in 2020. After the event, Biden adopted the cat and named her after their birthplace, Wilmington. Willow is the only pet that the Bidens currently have at the White House, as their three German Shepherds were either involved in biting incidents or removed from the property.
