“The ‘Crocus City Hall’ Bribery Case: Eighth Arrest Made as Scandal Deepens”

A new development has emerged in the ongoing “Crocus City Hall” bribery case as the eighth person has been arrested. This individual is associated with Grigor Kassimov and has been accused of handing over his apartment to the bribe-givers. The news was reported by TASS. The judge has also announced that the request for a precautionary measure against Kassimov’s assistant pending arrest has been approved.

On March 25, the Moscow Basmanny Court made additional arrests in the “Crocus City Hall” bribery case. This included the arrest of three figure skaters, who were the fifth, sixth, and seventh individuals implicated in the scandal. In addition, three other skaters, Israel Isolomov and his children Aminjon and Dilovar, were also arrested. Prior to this, the Basmanny Court had already detained four figure skaters within a two-month period.

The bribery scandal that unfolded at “Crocus City Hall” began on March 22 and has continued to grow. According to the latest information, there have been 139 victims, with 95 of them being athletes. As the investigation progresses, more developments are expected to come to light.
