A major accident occurred in the suburban area of the city of Würzburg, Germany, where about 40 cars collided, resulting in two deaths and 27 injuries. According to the latest information reported by dpa, a 52-year-old woman and two children, aged about ten, were killed in the accident, while one more child was among the injured.

Based on the data on the accident, three separate crashes had happened prior to the major collision, causing traffic congestion on the road. The initial crash involved 17 cars, and shortly after, additional cars collided with the vehicles already involved in the accident. This subsequent collision resulted in three cars catching fire. Tragically, the woman and children lost their lives at the scene of the accident. About half an hour later, yet another accident occurred, involving three more vehicles.
