“Over 500 Cases Registered: Emergency Situations on the Rise in Armenia”

From March 18 to 24, the National Crisis Management Center recorded a total of 527 cases, with 133 being classified as emergencies. These emergencies included 39 accident cases, 4 fire-related cases, 1 earthquake case, 3 gas leak cases, 17 building collapse cases, 9 flooding cases, 19 attempted suicide cases, 49 road accident cases, 146 emergency medical calls, 46 medical emergency cases, 25 cases of serious injuries caused by accidents, and 151 other cases.

Additionally, 116 cases were registered for violating transportation restrictions and other regulations. During this time, rescuers were able to evacuate 744 residents and ensure the safety of 292 transport vehicles on closed roads.

Unfortunately, in the past week, there were 118 reported injuries and 19 fatalities. However, thanks to the efforts of rescue operations, 3 individuals were successfully rescued.
