Head of the Election Protection Commission, Gegham Gevorgyan, recently attended a meeting held in Budapest by the Working Group on Electoral Cooperation and Support (ECES) of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the coordination of activities among heads of international observer missions during elections. This information was provided by MPHR to NEWS.am.

During the meeting, participants focused on topics such as effective monitoring and investigation of violations during the electoral process, as well as the actions taken in the courts.

Gegham Gevorgyan shared the experience of Armenia’s electoral body in organizing elections, emphasizing the progress made in the area of electoral themes.
