The public administration in Azerbaijan is persistently working to deny the Armenian heritage in the region of Artsakh, which has been severely devastated. Hovik Avanesov, an Azerbaijani expert on culture, has recently reported the alarming destruction of Armenian monuments at the Stephankert Armenia Hotel and the Youth Palace. Avanesov emphasizes that this is yet another indication that the cultural heritage of Artsakh is facing the imminent danger of eradication and complete destruction.
