On March 24th, there were reports of shots being fired in the Ararat province. The incidents occurred at 16:00 in several government buildings, including the administrative building of the Government of the Republic of Armenia in the Ararat regional administration, the Department of Interior Affairs of Ararat City, and the State Security Service of the NSS of the Republic of Armenia.

In addition, there was a report of shots fired and one person injured in a residential building on Acharyan Street in Artashat city. Law enforcement officers found six bullet shells on Zohrabi street and one bullet shell on Isakov street.

The injured person, identified as Tigran B., a 30-year-old resident of the Ararat province, was taken to the “Arshat” hospital from the medical center of Ararat Vocational School. Preliminary information suggests that the law enforcement officers have identified the internal motives behind the attempted murder, with the perpetrators firing several shots in the direction of the officers and the police.

An investigation into the incident is currently underway, and efforts are being made to uncover the motive behind the crime.
