Erdogan conveyed his condolences to the Russian government during a press conference held at an ongoing summit, where he also made reference to the mass gathering at Ankapark. He stated that the accident is “unacceptable” and that a thorough investigation into its causes will be conducted. Erdogan emphasized that as a country that has experienced the pain and suffering brought about by accidents, Turkey shares in the grief of the Russian people.
