Tragedy Strikes Moscow’s Crocus City Mall: Massive Fire Claims Lives and Causes Extensive Damage

According to recent news from “RIA Novosti”, a fire has erupted on the upper floors of the Crocus City Mall in Moscow. The fire has caused significant damage, completely burning the interiors of the mall. It has been reported that the Picnic group’s concert, scheduled to take place at Crocus City Hall on March 22, had to be canceled due to the fire. At least three ventilation ducts were released during the incident, and the building was evacuated. Tragically, preliminary data suggests that over 60 people have lost their lives. The head of the health department, Mikhail Murashko, has stated that 115 individuals, including 5 children, have been hospitalized. Out of those, 60 are in a serious condition, and one child is critically ill. The Russian Emergency Situations Committee is investigating the incident as a possible criminal act. Additionally, there has been a response from DAIȘ regarding the incident, after receiving an “alibi” from the transfer of Western equipment.
