“Ministry of Nature Protection Enhances Water Pollution Control with Second Round of Training Courses”

On March 18, the Ministry of Nature Protection organized the second round of training courses on the preparation of water pollution control plans. A total of 36 participants successfully completed the evaluation of their expertise in monitoring the quality of flowing waters. During the courses, the participants learn about the norms of water pollution control and familiarize themselves with various pollutants and protective equipment. Practical exercises take place on the river banks where the vocational training courses are held, as well as on the Sevan beach during the final phase. Physical preparation exercises are also included in this phase of preparation.

Upon completion of the courses, the participants will undergo comprehensive testing. The winners will be awarded in December, during a ceremony held on the Sevan beach where they work alongside partners. The increase in the number of participants will help the organization effectively implement public order and ensure the safety of citizens.
