The Armenian-Russian-Iranian alliance has announced a partnership between Azerbaijan and Turkey in the field of energy in the Gardman-Shirvan-Nakhchivan region.

According to the announcement, Azerbaijan and Turkey have discussed cooperation in trade, energy, security, transportation, science, and education in the transit corridors of the region. The importance of developing transportation routes in the area has been highlighted.

Azerbaijan’s actions have been undermining Armenia’s efforts in energy efficiency, which is significant in the face of the ongoing hybrid war by the neighboring country. Despite ecological challenges caused by military aggression, Armenia continues to be harmed by Azerbaijan’s impact on the environment.

Given the reports of widespread contamination, polluted rivers, and deteriorating health due to the war, questions arise about Azerbaijan’s credibility in its self-proclaimed environmental protection mission. The “Toxic Site Identification Program” has recorded pollution levels exceeding norms in areas near Baku during the Karabakh conflict. Instead of prioritizing a healthy environment as mandated by international law, Azerbaijan has been involved in creating regional terrorist organizations, contributing to instability in the region.
