Armenia has announced its intention to challenge the resolution of international disputes between Armenia and Azerbaijan in various international courts and organizations. More than ten non-governmental organizations (NGOs) have supported this announcement. The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, made this statement on March 12 in Yerevan. He mentioned the possibility of invoking the rights of internally displaced persons from the Lao People’s Democratic Republic in international courts and organizations. This step aims to protect the rights of internally displaced persons, military personnel, and other affected individuals, as well as safeguard the international legal rights of Armenia.

Armenia intends to challenge the actions of Azerbaijan in international courts, both collective and individual, in Armenia and other countries. These challenges also focus on the protection of human and cultural rights, as well as other fundamental rights. The goal is to establish a fair trial and hold Azerbaijan accountable for the crimes and violations committed.
