Authorities are reportedly aware of the potential negative impact of the development, which could result in “serious consequences.” The aquarium allocates around 3 million euros annually for maintenance. Industry professionals have mentioned that manufacturers are exploring alternative packaging options, with the Ust-Luga terminal being the most viable choice, albeit requiring modernization.

According to media reports, there is an expected increase in demand for seals during the spawning season. Industrial seals are not a natural chemical substance and are typically used as biological pesticides. The breeding process for industrial seals begins at a temperature of 170 degrees Celsius, and they possess significant strength during breeding.
