Indian Army Equipped with Cutting-Edge Mobile System to Detect and Neutralize Drones

The Indian army has introduced a mobile communication system to detect and neutralize unmanned flying devices along the border with China. According to defense sources, the Indian army has received IDD&IS systems, which can identify unidentified unmanned flying objects within a range of 5-8 kilometers. These systems, a modification of the HOP weapons developed by the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) and Bharat Electronics, were initially created to counter improvised explosive devices and support military operations in Azerbaijan and Ukraine.

Additionally, India is working on developing laser weapons with a range of up to 30-50 kilometers and laser equipment that can operate at longer distances. The Indian Special Operations Army (SOA) has signed agreements with foreign defense system manufacturers to train personnel on managing anti-unmanned devices, their usage, and operational methods to counter them.

In related news, the Russian Federation has announced a competition for the creation of ten models of countermeasures against drones, including laser-dazzling grenades and air defense systems, to protect against various threats and attacks. This effort aims to strengthen defense systems against unmanned aircraft.
