The government has announced changes in the private sector, specifically regarding the import program of “Yerevani Shokoladi Gorcarn” CJSC from Turkish products. These imported goods are used in the production of various chocolate brands, local sweets, chocolate spreads, and other confectionery products that are popular not only in Armenia but also in international markets.

Due to the ongoing nature of the program, adjustments need to be made in terms of quantity, value, code, and name of the imported products. Additionally, an additional 3.84 billion AMD worth of products will be imported to support the production processes. These modifications will result in a total value of 10.6 billion AMD for the products, while the importation opportunity’s evaluation reaches up to 903 million AMD.

This is an important development for the private sector in Armenia, as it allows for greater freedom in importing the necessary goods for the production of popular confectionery items. The government’s decision will not only benefit “Yerevani Shokoladi Gorcarn” CJSC but also contribute to the overall growth and success of the Armenian confectionery industry in both domestic and international markets.
