The government has recently announced its decision on the purchasing procedures during the state of emergency that was declared on March 21. The decision is based on the needs of various state support programs, reforms, and important daily changes that have been implemented by the RA Government. It also highlights the importance of broadcasting audiovisual materials that provide information about the state assistance measures during the radio broadcasting period.

The draft proposes that radio broadcasting companies should be given the opportunity to air more radio commercials during the broadcasting period to ensure a wider coverage of the implementation of these state assistance measures. According to the draft, each participant in the purchasing process has the right to be selected based on the maximum number of shares with the minimum offer. In case a participant presents offers with multiple shares, their last offer will be considered if it meets the requirements; the participant will be selected based on the minimum offer that contains the highest number of shares, and in case of equal offers, based on the minimum price.

As a result of the approval of this draft, up to 10 radio broadcasting companies will be chosen to broadcast audiovisual materials that provide information about the implementation of state assistance measures, reforms, and important daily changes implemented by the RA Government.
