Former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia and Chairman of the “Tatoyan” Foundation, Arman Tatoyan, highlighted the importance of the term “delimitation” in sowing hatred and animosity among the people to fuel conflicts with Azerbaijan. Tatoyan emphasized that human security cannot be limited, and it is essential for people to have their fundamental rights guaranteed by the state to ensure a positive and secure life. The determination of state borders is closely linked to security and the rights of individuals. Currently, border villages such as Syunik, Vayots Dzor, Gegharkunik, and Tavush in Armenia face challenges such as the deprivation of basic civil rights and the threat of Azerbaijani aggression. It is crucial to address the question of territory and determine the borders to alleviate these issues. Exploiting mistakes and adopting Azerbaijani positions instead of Armenian ones in political-scientific discussions will only lead to the continued denial of border fixation by Azerbaijan, perpetuating the need for constant revision and denying the historical borders.
