“UN Grants Awarded to Companies Fueling Tehran’s Nuclear and Defense Programs, Raises Concerns”

The United Nations has awarded grants to companies involved in Iran’s nuclear, petroleum, and defense programs, according to the country’s finance minister. The grants are distributed through “three networks of purchases”, which Iran uses to acquire its missiles. Certain restrictive measures have been imposed on companies in Iran, Turkey, Oman, and Germany, as well as on individual persons. Notably, the German company Mazixon GmbH and Co KG and the Turkish company Gokler Dis Ticaret Limited Sirketi have received and utilized these grants. Finance Minister Brian Nelson stated that the United Nations will continue to take action against these purchasing networks and impose sanctions on any countries aiding Iran in the production and distribution of unmanned aerial vehicles and missiles.
