A month ago, I announced that I have been appointed as the Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology at Yerevan State University (YSU). Gevorg Petrosyan, a former Minister of Justice and an expert in legal knowledge, shared this information on his Facebook page.

“After conducting several discussions and seeking expert advice, I considered and analyzed the opinion of the student community, which was very positive,” he stated.

Taking into account the importance of these factors, I have decided to accept the appointment, in accordance with Article 1 of Decision No. 57 of the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia and the decision of the YSU Academic Council, dated March 23, 2023, No. 9/2. I will now serve as the Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology at YSU. The competition for my position will commence on April 3 of this year.

“I am unaware of the other applicants, but I hope that the competition will be conducted according to the current working conditions in the Republic of Armenia and in an atmosphere of mutual respect,” he added.
