The President of the United States, Joe Biden, and the leaders of Congress announced on Wednesday that they have reached an agreement on the framework of a financial plan for the administration’s funding. According to Biden, the agreement with Congress has been made regarding the overall financing of government activities for the next year. The representatives’ staff and the Senate are currently working on the details of the plan, which will be presented to Biden for his prompt signature. However, it is noted that members of Congress require additional time to complete the preparation of the proposal’s text. The Palace of Representatives has a principle in place where representatives are given 72 hours to review the proposal before voting, while important amendments to the financial plan must be submitted by Friday evening. The spokesperson for the Palace of Representatives, Mike Thompson, confirmed that the corresponding committees are actively working on the text and it will be reviewed as soon as possible.
