On March 19, at 19:40, the emergency rescue service of the Syunik region received information regarding a cargo truck that was trapped on the Yerevan-Meghri highway in the section of Sarnavand-“Zanger”. The road became impassable due to a snowstorm. After one hour of work by the Syunik Search and Rescue Department, the situation was resolved. It was evident that the cargo truck had blocked off the road on both sides, resulting in other vehicles also getting stuck. The rescuers were able to provide assistance to 20 transportation vehicles and evacuated 49 passengers accordingly.
