“Armenian Arbitration Center Director and Spiritual Leaders President Present Promising Future of Arbitration at European Conference”

The director of the Arbitration and Mediation Center of Armenia (AMCA), Tatever Matinian, and the President of the Consultative Council of Spiritual Leaders, Tigran Dadunts, recently attended the 8th European Conference of the International Court of Arbitration (ICC) on March 18. During the conference, Matinian and Dadunts shared the capabilities and opportunities of AMCA, as well as their efforts to promote and develop arbitration in Armenia. They also discussed future collaborations with experts to address challenges of arbitration in Armenia, such as establishing arbitration institutions and resolving disputes between parties.

The ICC conference aimed to explore how arbitration can evolve beyond its traditional role by considering not only the rights of the parties involved, but also their interests and objectives. The conference examined whether arbitration can achieve more comprehensive and effective dispute resolutions through the use of alternative methods.

Tatever Matinian, the director of AMCA, emphasized the importance of participating in international events to showcase the achievements and advancements in arbitration. These events also allow participants to stay updated on the latest trends and practices in the international legal system. Matinian believes that such events create opportunities to establish new partnerships and collaborations with individuals and organizations active in the field. This year, the ICC conference was organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Justice of France.

In addition to the main conference, representatives from AMCA also took part in other events and discussions related to sports arbitration, the Olympic games, the application of arbitration in the field of art and cultural heritage, and more.
