The rescue service in Armenia has issued a warning regarding the closure of certain roads in the country. Specifically, the roads from the “Amberd” high-altitude weather station in the Aragatsotn region to the Amberd fortress and Kar Lake are currently closed. Additionally, the road from Jermuk ski resort to “Zange” has also been closed due to snow removal equipment. Furthermore, several road sections in different regions of Armenia, including Gegharkunik, Syunik, Ashotzk, Amasia, Aragats, Aparan, Talin, Dilijan, Jermuk, Kajaran, Goris, and Zangeur, are covered in ice. It is important to note that the city of Goris and the section called “Zang” are particularly affected by black ice.

This information is crucial for anyone planning to travel in the region, as these road closures and icy conditions can pose serious risks. It is advised to stay updated on the current status of roads and weather conditions before undertaking any journeys. Safety should always be the top priority, and taking necessary precautions is essential to avoid accidents and ensure a smooth and trouble-free travel experience.
