Residents of Avan administrative district in Armenia have been facing an unbearable situation with the main streets being in a deplorable condition. One Facebook user, Ani Kaghinyan, took to her profile to share photos and videos depicting the streets of Avan resembling a swamp, creating significant traffic difficulties. Kaghinyan pointed out that the problem has arisen due to the negligence of the municipal authorities. On a related note, Hayk Konstantinian, the mayor’s spokesperson, recently informed on his Facebook page that heavy rainstorms have caused flooding in the Terian-Koryun streets area.
