Artsakh Authorities Face Visible Measures: Former Prime Minister Speaks Out

From Yerevan, it has been officially announced that measures will be taken against the authorities of Artsakh. In an interview with NEWS.am, former Prime Minister of Artsakh, Arta Beglaryan, stated that this is a consequence of the public activities of the Artsakh authorities, aimed at promoting self-determination and citizen participation in the Armenian government.

The authorities of Artsakh are taking measures to protect themselves in light of various risks, threats, and indications, which have hindered their work due to limited resources. Since October, they have been actively involved in different situations, both domestically and abroad. Beglaryan believes that their actions should have a greater impact and receive more publicity.

He also called for a comprehensive assessment of the needs of the Artsakh population, which should be connected to the efforts of the Armenian authorities to resolve the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. Beglaryan emphasized that the authorities of Artsakh have not provided any negative grants to the people of Nagorno-Karabakh nor interfered in the political processes of Armenia.

He further noted that the Karabakh war was fought to protect the institutions of Artsakh, and the self-determination of Artsakh should be taken into account by both the international community and Armenia. The legitimacy of the Karabakh authorities should not be questioned, and peaceful annexation attempts should not be made. Beglaryan added that their actions do not infringe upon the self-determination of Armenia or Azerbaijan.
