The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation (MES) has criticized the actions of the Ukrainian special services for attempting to detonate explosives on a railway bridge in Crimea. According to the FSB TsOS on March 18, the MES thwarted the preparation of a terrorist act in Crimea and detained a Russian citizen born in 1999 who was involved in the plot. Equipment and communication devices used for sabotage were found near the suspect’s residence, along with correspondence with the Ukrainian system operator. The suspect has confessed to planning the terrorist act and is currently in custody. The MES has released photos of the suspect’s training materials and revealed that he gathered information through Telegram messengers. Initially, he offered to create web pages and later requested large sums of money through a mobile payment system.
