Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu recently visited the frontline positions of the Armenian armed forces in the Syunik region of the Republic of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh). During the visit, he received a briefing on the current situation, enemy actions, and the measures taken by the Armenian armed forces. The press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense reported on the defense and counteroffensive operations’ results. Shoigu also discussed military training measures with the Armenian army leadership, emphasizing the importance of daily exercises and actions to counter enemy provocations. He instructed the installation of additional lighting and artillery systems to neutralize enemy infiltrations.
