On March 16 at 10:52, the regional rescue service center in Shirak received an emergency call regarding an accident on the Ashotsk-Saralanj highway. The call indicated that a rescue operation was needed to assist the victims. The Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations was promptly informed of the situation. Emergency service personnel swiftly arrived at the scene. They discovered that an “Opel” car, driven by X.P. (born in 1991), had veered off the road and ended up in the river at the 7th kilometer of the Ashotsk-Vardashabur highway. The driver, along with the passengers A.H. (born in 1993) and A.P. (born in 2020), were transferred to a medical center before the arrival of the rescue team. Thankfully, their condition was evaluated as satisfactory by the doctors. The dedicated rescuers skillfully drained the car, pulled it out of the river, and cleared the road to ensure the safety of other motorists.
