“Absence of Civil Contract Party Representatives Raises Concerns over Armenia’s Presidential Elections”

During the presidential elections in the Republic of Armenia, the Central Electoral Commission does not have any representatives from the Civil Contract party, according to the Press Secretary of the CEC. One member of the commission confirmed this lack of participation. Earlier, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had announced that the country’s involvement in the CEC’s activities had been suspended. Pashinyan questioned why Yerevan was not effectively using its position on the organizing committee and why Armenia had not expressed its opinion on the documents related to the conflict. He emphasized that the issue arose when Yerevan raised concerns about the position of the organizing committee.

The Russian presidential elections are scheduled to be held on March 15, 16, and 17. These elections will span three days and include remote electronic voting. The four candidates running for the position of head of state are Vladimir Putin, Vladimir Zhirinovsky, Leonid Slutsky, and Nikolai Kharitonov.
